DeMarr Moulton
DeMarr Moulton’s practice is focused on federal criminal defense, state criminal defense, investigations, and civil rights. Prior to opening his own law firm, he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Pennsylvania, where he prosecuted a variety of federal crimes including narcotics, firearms, wire fraud, mail fraud, sex trafficking, child exploitation, and violent crimes. He also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Ohio. These years of experience as a federal prosecutor give him insight into how government and law enforcement agencies work, which gives him broad experience to counsel those in need through challenging times.
After law school, DeMarr clerked for the Honorable John Preston Bailey in the Northern District of West Virginia, in his hometown of Wheeling, WV. He then worked as an associate at a large international law firm. There, he worked on a variety of civil and white-collar matters, including trials for a Fortune 50 company facing numerous lawsuits alleging their baby powder contained asbestos and litigation involving a large, international bank in lawsuits related to the 2008 financial crisis. DeMarr also worked for a highly regarded white collar and sports law boutique in Pittsburgh before starting his own practice.
DeMarr attended Cornell University and played defensive back on the football team. He earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. During law school, he was an extern for the Honorable James A. Wynn, Jr. on the Fourth Circuit.
DeMarr is an active member of the Ohio County Bar Association as well as the Allegheny County Bar Association, where he previously chaired the Federal Criminal Practice Subcommittee.
